Not a mall Santa but I was the store Santa at the Alco store in Hays Kansas in the late 70's early 80's. Hey, it was beer money. Had diaper rash on the knee, from all the little munchkins gettin excited and peeing themselves.

Might be why they asked me to be the Santa though..................less embarrassing for the company.

Edit, upon further review, though I may not have the required "soft-skills" to be a mall Santa, clearly I possess the round nose, ruddy cheeks and facial hair. Don't worry about the pic, I'm wearing socks. I'm every Mrs. Santa Claus's dream boat! WTF??? I 🥴🥴😬🤣🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Oh yeah “out west” it’s named something different
Way cooler
LOL
Probably has a Western BBQ Ranch burger on the menu there too that we’re not privi to know about.
Maybe even “cheese grits” too. With mesquite and jalapeno squirty sauce available also 😃😩😩😩

i used to play santa at a inner city school for my church. ya and thats not a joke. it was actually fun. the little kids had a ball and loved it, me, santa, whatever.
on another note, i used to work at a dept store in the 70's and we had a santa. this dude was about 70 and was a stone cold alky. i used to sit in the break room with him while he pounded smokes and sipped from a flask and complained about the "little f-uckers". it was hilarious.
My diploma is a DD214

Once wore a Easter bunny suit riding a motorcycle for a tv commercial. Them little eye holes were hard to see out of.
No Santa jobs. Dude! pics! Zero pics. 1975-76 time frame. Boss at the motorcycle shop told me I had to do it. The other fuggers at work picked on my azz unmercifully for weeks.

She doesn't look too happy. Agreed. The Christmas Spirit is not strong in that photo.

Is there union or hiring hall for mall Santas any creds needed? Don't know anything about the subject but recall back in the day Santa smelled like cheap rye whisky and Lucky Strikes.
