Forecast is really looking up next week.

Looking forward to some football.

Football? What's that? Haven't watched any football games of any sort in over 30 years now, and consider myself better off for it!!

46° and lightly raining. We're on the front end of a real rollercoaster here.

56° and t-storms today, transitioning to snow tomorrow morning as the temp drops off a cliff. Blizzard warning tomorrow, 5-8" of snow with 40-60mph wind, then down around 0° tomorrow night.

We're also under a flood watch right now because of the combination of rain and snow meltoff today.

Mid 40's and sunny, dang strong winds. A piece of wood jammed into the linkage on my woodsplitter and it wont Idle down. Hope it's just a spring popped off. But, it's so dang windy, I'm procrastinating here so as not to go out and fix it.

Windy as heck but warm. Time to put the snow blower away and get the mower deck tuned up. The Robins are back in force.

32° and sleeting. It was 41 and raining a couple hours ago. Supposed to pick up 6+ inches of snow today. The wind is clipping along about 20-25mph, so it could get messy by afternoon.

1/2 of Ice

Plus 4” of snow

With 1” of snow per hour coming down right now for the next 5 hours….

They are having problems keeping the main roads open, the neighborhood roads haven’t been touched yet.

The police said if you can drive after an accident, call it in the next day, and are blocking off the elevated on ramps because people keep sliding back down them.

Too bad you didn't get that AH Fox shotgun, Joe. A quick right-and-a left would put the kibosh to a bunch of those thieving murdering birds, and provide the fixings for a toothsome game pie at the same time.

It's starting to get a bit desperate for moisture an hour or more north of you... but not so desperate that we want 1/2" of ice. Be careful down there.

Down to 33 here this morning and dropping with a N wind of 20 to 30 mph. Light mist mixed with occasional sleet and snowflakes. It was 75 here and sunny yesterday. Go figure. 🤠
