I was given a bag of parts by a guy who said this came out of a model 500 mossberg that he sold. I’m usually pretty good at putting this together but it had me stumped so I looked at the parts for a 500 and these are different from the schematics on line. Is it an older style? Any help would be appreciated. Regards.

The bolt locking bar does not look like it fits that trigger housing so I think you got a mixed bag of parts.

It all seems to fit separately but I’m not sure how the split trigger safety fits together with the other parts. Thank you for the comments.

Figured it out without the springs. I’m not sure where they all go. I know where a couple go up front and the hammer plunger but the small round coil spring appears to go behind the trigger in a hole but isn’t long enoug. Maybe there is a little plunger that supposed to go in there.. Only if I had a a schematic to see where they all go. It appears the slide lock may be missing, here it is without springs.

I figured out what type of trigger group it is but cannot find any schematics or parts diagrams to determine how the twisty type springs are installed. It is a Mossberg Lighting Pump Action (LPA) group. If anyone can point me in the right direction for assembly or take pictures of the inside or theirs so I can see how the springs are oriented that would be great.

Have you gone to Nurmich gun parts and see if they have a break down on that?

e-gunparts is their web site.
