IMR-7828 has given good accuracy and velocities. Easily getting 3250 fps with 168 gr TTSX and 2975 fps with 200 gr Nosler partitions in our 24" M-700s. The 150 gr TTSX was also very accurate, but the 175 gr LRX not so much.
I've used IMR-4350 as well. Great accuracy, and .300 Win velocities.

180gr Cutting Edge Lazer seated to 3.765" OAL over 80gr RL23.
3190 fps from a 23" barrel and shoots in the .3s.
My chamber is cut with a .165 freebore so a factory throat would likely need a couple extra grains of powder to match speed..

It has been quite a while but in my 300 Weatherby days it was a 180 on top of the original long stick IMR 7828.

180 grain TTSX over a caseful of H1000, Federal magnum rifle primer, Weatherby cases. 3.590" OAL in a Model 70.
Regular TSX worked just as well.
Winchester rifles and Swarovski scopes.

Yes, or 180's (yawn). 84 grains will do wonders..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I use RL-26 and a 180 grain Nosler Partition. IIRC the velocity is 3200 fps from the 26" barrel.

For a deer load, a starting to mid power charge of 70-72 grs of IMR 4350 with a 168 Ballistic Tip, Norma cases and a Federal 215 works really well and gave me 2900 fps and 1/2-3/4”, three shot groups.

I load 80gr. RL22 with a 180gr. Speer Grand Slam for my wife's uncle's Mark V. It isn't a max load, but very accurate.
I also messed with 84gr. of RL22 with a 168gr. TTXS. Accurate, but he likes the 180gr. load better.

7828 with anything from 150-200 grains
I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.

Unfortunately you will not match Weatherby factory ammo. They use a blended powder and will not give up the formula.
