Some posters forget that this place isn't all virtual. Plenty of us have met and interacted with each other in real life.

And still post the same (or more reserved) as we talk in real life.

Twyler, have you met anybody on here?

Bravo to Ric Bin (the owner). Bravo!

Yep. The Campfire is the ONLY site on the Internet where we have true Free Speech. And about the only one where True 2nd Amendment supporters can support the 2nd Amendment with out censorship.
Kudos to Rick Bin for keeping it going in a world ruled nowadays by Commie PC Bullschitt.

I find it interesting that so many complain about the place. It’s full on open toilet yet they remain. They participate.

Lots of virtue signaling. Bemoan porn while shoveling dollars into Elexis's thong and asking about the champagne room rates….

While I fully support and have fought for your right to do so, I certainly don't agree with all that you say and especially your attempts to put your spin of bigotry and racism on every post that appears on The Campfire. On the various other technical forums, you hijack posts with personal attacks because you disagree with someone else’s viewpoint, or because you believe that their gender or ethnicity makes their opinion unworthy. Because you get away with it, because you get few if any dissenting responses, you assume that your rhetoric is superior and your behavior is acceptable - the truth is that most on here just don’t want to stoop to your level.

Furthermore, I firmly believe that the original intent of The Campfire was to serve as an online community for the exchange of knowledge and ideas for those of us who lived the outdoor shooting and hunting lifestyle - maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think it was intended to be an outhouse for those of you with extremist views to take a political dump anytime and anywhere. The problem I have is also personal: I have daughters - one of whom likes to hunt and shoot when she can - and also grandchildren, boys and girls. You have made this sight unsuitable for them and quite frankly, I don’t think it is your right to do so. Where I come from the term ‘gentleman’ still means something. If you’re not sure what that is, a simple definition means behaving the same way you would in front of your mother. Some of you certainly don’t qualify or don’t care and that’s certainly your business; but by common association on the campfire, you give the rest of us a bad name and that’s my business. Because you scream the most and the loudest, doesn’t mean that you’re right - it just means you’re intellectually obnoxious . . . and sure as hell, it means The Campfire is dying within.

While i appreciate where you are coming from, you need to rethink your position. You are following along with the left in demanding everyone follow what you believe or be silenced. You and your child are not forced to be here. We are losing rights daily just because some feel uncomfotable or because so many arent willing to tolerate anything that isnt their own ideology. Its very easy for you to walk away or go find another forum that suits you better. Its called freedom

I snowshoed over a mountain to Gruff's homestead and forged knives from leaf spring.... he is much rougher around the edges in real life than he is on the campfire...

Everywhere except Louisiana:

The ellipsis is also called a suspension point, points of ellipsis, periods of ellipsis, or (colloquially) "dot-dot-dot".[5] Depending on their context and placement in a sentence, ellipses can indicate an unfinished thought, a leading statement, a slight pause, an echoing voice, or a nervous or awkward silence. Aposiopesis is the use of an ellipsis to trail off into silence—for example: "But I thought he was..." When placed at the end of a sentence, an ellipsis may be used to suggest melancholy or longing.

Four or more sometimes used for emphasis or expression.

I never knew the part about it meaning longing. Now it makes perfect sense in the way Twirler used it. He's longing for cock. The four, instead of the standard three, must mean he wants a big one.

I am all for free speech.Even if it offends me or I don`t agree with the presentation.Having a place to say your mind right or wrong is very important. We are lucky to have a place to express our opinions in this day of Political Wokeness. There are plenty of other Hunting, shooting sites that will be glad to ban people for the slightest infraction.Maybe you should limit your children to those sites and let this on be what it is.I am glad you stated your opinion.Welcome to the real world,Huntz
