While I fully support and have fought for your right to do so, I certainly don't agree with all that you say and especially your attempts to put your spin of bigotry and racism on every post that appears on The Campfire. On the various other technical forums, you hijack posts with personal attacks because you disagree with someone else’s viewpoint, or because you believe that their gender or ethnicity makes their opinion unworthy. Because you get away with it, because you get few if any dissenting responses, you assume that your rhetoric is superior and your behavior is acceptable - the truth is that most on here just don’t want to stoop to your level.

Furthermore, I firmly believe that the original intent of The Campfire was to serve as an online community for the exchange of knowledge and ideas for those of us who lived the outdoor shooting and hunting lifestyle - maybe I’m wrong but I don’t think it was intended to be an outhouse for those of you with extremist views to take a political dump anytime and anywhere. The problem I have is also personal: I have daughters - one of whom likes to hunt and shoot when she can - and also grandchildren, boys and girls. You have made this sight unsuitable for them and quite frankly, I don’t think it is your right to do so. Where I come from the term ‘gentleman’ still means something. If you’re not sure what that is, a simple definition means behaving the same way you would in front of your mother. Some of you certainly don’t qualify or don’t care and that’s certainly your business; but by common association on the campfire, you give the rest of us a bad name and that’s my business. Because you scream the most and the loudest, doesn’t mean that you’re right - it just means you’re intellectually obnoxious . . . and sure as hell, it means The Campfire is dying within.

Its fairly easy this day and time. You just have to do what others have. Leave or don't come often and ignore many.

It is a shame. I agree. It was a once worthwhile and much more wholesome web page. No more.

Is it first amendment totally. Yes totally.

I only come anymore a bit at the dead time of the year for me when I'm prepping for the next season. I never see much of anything but stupidity. At least thats what I term it. Valuable posts are much less regular than they used to be.

Is what it is as they say. Though its a total shame of what its become.

When some of these threads go off the rail, I think of Hackberry Fynn, and "The Royal Nonsuch."

Don't forget that this sub-forum is but one of many. The signal to noise ratio elsewhere is much better. The noise in those forums comes from a select few who are easy to turn off. Almost all forums have their "anything goes" sub-forum. The ones that complain the loudest, often spend most of their time in the forum they are complaining about. Such is the case with our OP Offshoreman.

Gotta support the Rickster!!!!

I feel gulity I havent been doing my part enough lately.
He sent me a PM cease and desist from a pic I put up on Kingstons atonement thread several days ago.

I am making up for that now.
Doing my part to generate hits and veiws which pleases the blossman the best cause it supports his livelyhood.

Plus he sends me my weekly box of remington thunderturds for doing my part.
It's a win win for both of us.

"The Second law of thermodynamics in other versions establishes the concept of entropy as a physical property of a thermodynamic system. It can be used to predict whether processes are forbidden despite obeying the requirement of conservation of energy as expressed in the first law of thermodynamics and provides necessary criteria for spontaneous processes. The second law may be formulated by the observation that the entropy of isolated systems left to spontaneous evolution cannot decrease, as they always arrive at a state of thermodynamic equilibrium where the entropy is highest at the given internal energy.[2] An increase in the combined entropy of system and surroundings accounts for the irreversibility of natural processes, often referred to in the concept of the arrow of time.[3]

Historically, the second law was an empirical finding that was accepted as an axiom of thermodynamic theory. Statistical mechanics provides a microscopic explanation of the law in terms of probability distributions of the states of large assemblies of atoms or molecules. The second law has been expressed in many ways. Its first formulation, which preceded the proper definition of entropy and was based on caloric theory, is Carnot's theorem, credited to the French scientist Sadi Carnot, who in 1824 showed that the efficiency of conversion of heat to work in a heat engine has an upper limit.[4][5] The first rigorous definition of the second law based on the concept of entropy came from German scientist Rudolph Clausius in the 1850s and included his statement that heat can never pass from a colder to a warmer body without some other change, connected therewith, occurring at the same time. "

I think this choke will do fine in the 390 for tree rats and dove.
Improved Modified .700 berreta choke.
Basically a full constriction along other brands sizing.
The full berrata one is .695.

Run out to the 5 stand range on post and shoot a rd or 2 and see how it rolls. Snug it up a little more if I can on a hot barrel also.
Got choke dope on it installed right now.
I think it looks " sexy" in a gun sorta way.

But........

It's not as "sexy" as elkymasarnutts with his airsoft pistol in his flithy fuucking room wearing a diaper....
