That intrajugular port is a bitch, wife had one multiple times during the 10+ years she was on dialysis. Fistulas and grafts clot off eventually, when that happens they got to stick that damn thing back in your neck.

Immediate prayers for Slummy to bounce back to good health....
hope he makes it out of the woods real quick... If he's at Vanderbilt ( I assume from your first post) then he's in good hands...
I've been in that hospital several times back in my days working in Cardiology, and have scrubbed into a few cases down there, nursing new reps along as a Trainer
when they were new hires....This was back in the late 80s early 90s... Impressive place, and had a great cardiology Dept... open heart cases and coronary angioplasty cases...
Saw a few posts he is getting out of the woods, so that is good to hear...

Just text me.
Talked to him earlier today.
It was up in the air if they was going let him bounce or not.
Must be feeling better which is good.
Puttering around the house doing some light cleaning and vacum sealing Bbq meats.
Dude blows my mind with his drive at times

Seen some meat specials at a market in Joelton on way home.
They stopped.
Said he was using the shopping cart as a roller walker.
Meat specials at that market are like crack rock to him.
Always have been.
On 41 going to Nashvegas.

🤦♂️🤦♂️🥴🥴🥴😄😄 He wouldn’t know what to do with himself here. Smallish town with lots of people of German and Polish ancestry. You can’t drive a mile without driving past an old school meat market/butcher shop. Glad to hear that he’s home and feeling at least a bit better.
