In my humble opinion. 12 pack of Doritos Locos steps it up a notch, damn near into the fine dining category. IMHO of course.

Grovers Truck stop was the go to around here before they tore it down several years ago.

In my humble opinion. We are brothers. I still on occasion will do that same order, with just as many “hot” packs of sauce per taco. 😬🦫 Don't you folks have any real Mexicans around there? Find a damn taco shop and order some lenqua or cabeza tacos. Jeebus. Sheesh even.

Ft Collins had a handful of food carts out around the bars in old town.
The gyro stand was the best. Hot gyro at 2am in the winter was killer on the walk home.

Sometimes you gotta feed your cravings for a taco. 🦫 Friggen Oregon. We didn't have that issue in SoCal. Seems there was always one in the 'hood open to make $$$ off the drunks. And, due to growing up around those taco shops, and having tasted Taco Hell when they first arrived in our town............. I've never since had a craving for a Taco Hell taco...............or their "sauce" Sheesh.

15-20 White Castles xpickle, no ketchup. All middles,no edges or corners. 40 years ago the closest White Castle was like 400 miles away The Locator says the closest one to me is over 800 miles away. You can get em frozen in lots of supermarkets.

Usually it was a couple slices of pizza right at the bar or Sabrett hot dogs with cheese from a sidewalk vendor but the best was a chicken and bacon sandwich from one of the convince stores. Breaded chicken cutlet with bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayo.
Unfortunately too much beer and pizza were often a bad combination for me, had a bad habit of not staying down. Didn’t stop me for some reason.

Best place ever was in the 1980s Atlanta, A guy and I down for a meeting that got out of hand where headed back to the hotel but needed some food. Got off the four lane in a schetchie part of town and had 3 fried pork chops, grits, apple pie and biscuits

Anyone ever ate canned Beverly Sausage? I saw comments on Youtube about people growing up with the stuff, and some considered it a treat as a kid.
But the reviewers and newcomers mostly called it dog food.
I'm scared to try it. I got curious because the grocery store always has an end cap completely stocked with it, and always has my entire life.
