One piece of meat for the cost of a center-fire rifle.

Not that anybody here ever needs a reason to add another rifle or shotgun to the harem.

Hurricanes in the Gulf, seasonal change-over, and government interference.

I was cruising past the meat counter this weekend and saw a rib steak with a price tag of something like $ 8.32. (Total price, not per pound.)

I picked it up to look and I swear I have business cards in my wallet that are thicker than the steak. mad

Canadians have been paying high prices for groceries for quite a while now.

They'll be eating bugs before long.

Thank God we just bought a 1/2 cow at $3.19/ lb hanging weight. Cheaper than stores or some butchers.

It has funny looking words that don't make sense on the label too.

This is why I always try to shoot a couple of tender does every season. You can keep the antlers, I'll fill the freezer with steaks, roasts and burger.

This is located north of the arctic circle.

I am not sure if they have cattle that far north, or just maybe beef is brought in by air.

For where it is located that appears to be a fair price.

I got a whole Nilgai just delivered to my freezer.
Plenty of beef in there also.
Kinda hard not to see this coming. Gonna suck for the head in the sand crowd.
