Converts at 2.2lbs/kg to 26.8 lbs of Angus prime rib, primal cut, at $15.86 /lb. A 6 lb cut of that trimmed would go for $94 bucks. About what you'd pay anywhere near a major city in the US for a roast like that. Of course, label doesnt say if its graded choice or prime. On the other hand, I bought a three pack of 12 oz USDA Prime NY Strips at Costco last week for $10.95 /lb., closely trimmed. I just dont see the huge spike in prices (yet)if you pick your point of sale.

My son in Billings called up the other day and had found Rib Steaks on sale for $7.00 a pound. There was a limit so he got my wife and I some and himself. He wasn't allowed any more. He got those at Albertsons !
That was after my wife and I had just eaten the ones we bought at the IGA store here in town that were $12.45/lb.
They were good, but we won't be having them too often!

This ^^^^^ ... If you google Igloolik, NU, it becomes obvious that logistics costs might be a little higher than the local Piggly Wiggly...

Beef has become a luxury in keeping with the Build Back Better/Green New Deal/Great Reset that’s been going on the last several years.

Trust the plan!
