If true, my guess is that he would have been better off going in after the purchase in stealth mode so that the employees do not sabotage the platform. Have an IT SWAT team ready to move in to lock everything down, and simultaneously have a fire drill and lock out in-office people. Then let people come in under guard to remove their stuff. If false, someone is sabotaging the company now.
