I was taught that the problem with Weimar was the currency wasnt worth anything I don't doubt that is how it is taught somewhere in the US public school system. Then one day, for no reason at all, their currency was worthless.

Looks very familiar. Yes, indeed. I have a couple of their bank notes, one for 20 million Reichsmarks and one for 50 million. I haven't looked at the 50 lately but the 20 is printed on only one side. Dated 25 Juli 1923.
