6.5x300 Weatherby. I'm 264 today but was 300 around Christmas time. I wear a belt now and I'm tall.

I went by idea, not actual weight or dim.
Im 6ft and 190 so just avg.

Still a .300 savage in concept.

Probably a .30-06 for me. Old, average, common, available and reliable. Not too big and not too small.

Good thing I like to load and shoot the .17 Remington - 170 has been a goal and I'm about there. Would like to get below that but not a likely prospect - and most favored calibers to load and use are up where you 250 to 280 guys are.
