6.5x300 Weatherby. I'm 264 today but was 300 around Christmas time. I wear a belt now and I'm tall.

somewhere between a 25-20 and 264. I was closer to a 243 in February, but gained 10+ pounds after a recent surgery
My goal is to get back to less than 2x my wife's weight.
She's gained up to 124 after averaging about 118 for past 2 years. she must have gained sympathy weight for me. I'm over twice my gal's weight, but she's a 5' 2" ex ballet dancer.

Probably a .30-06 for me. Old, average, common, available and reliable. Not too big and not too small.
My other auto is a .45

Currently I'd be a .256 Newton. Always wanted to rebarrel something into one.

Good thing I like to load and shoot the .17 Remington - 170 has been a goal and I'm about there. Would like to get below that but not a likely prospect - and most favored calibers to load and use are up where you 250 to 280 guys are.

220 Swift…..One of Frank Glasers favorite caliber for Dall sheep when he was meat hunting for the railroad and road crews. He wasn’t fond of it for Brown bear but thought it about perfect for sheep.
