That thing is cool as hell. Those 360's are a great motor. With a little head work and the right cam will put all the power you want in that rig.

Oh the memories....when a truck was a TRUCK, no frills. I "had" a '78 with 360, 4 speed with 4.10s. Originally a Department of the Interior truck (probably park ranger). Bought with 11,450 miles at auction for $1075.00 including buyers fee in 1985. Had fixed front end (no locking hubs). Truck could pull a frigging house of the foundation I think. Factory am radio made it all of 15 minutes when I got it home. Girlfriend loved how far back into "nowhere" we could get for "night-time" activities.

Sure wish I could have it back......simpler days. Thanks for letting me reminisce all over your post.

GLWS 222ND. Be safe.

One person showed up to look at it. And it was my retired boss. We made a deal for him to come back to pick it up in a week and in the meantime his transmission went out on his JD4430. 18000 dollars to fix that tranny kind of 86ed our deal. I was just over at hay coulee trucking (local truck and fabrication shop)yesterday talking to him about a flatbed and a hoist for it. I’ve got a 76 ford high boy for sale that came with a boss plow and if I sell the ford the plow is going on the dodge and I will keep it. That truck with a plow and dump bed would be pretty handy to have around.

What's the story with the 76 hi-boy? You stated for sale as well?

Already sold, pics price?

Thanks
