I didn't start trying to kill one with a bow until a couple years ago,and at that I'm much more of a run-n-gun turkey hunter, but this morning they were calling for rain so I figured I'd give the blind a try. Everything worked and the bird read the script. We were done @ 5:45 AM. Home in time for breakfast and a nap before work. They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

If you’re not already watching him, you should check out Shane Simpson’s turkey videos. He doesn’t hunt exclusively with a stickbow by any means, but does so frequently and gets it done often enough to keep it interesting. Deer too. Seems to use the bow mainly on Merriam’s. What fresh Hell is this?
