I suspect it's a good time to buy but my doubts are getting in my way. It may be a decent investment to make right now since inflation hasn't hit it yet and recession/depression appears to be on the horizon.

If you work 40 hrs/wk: at 5% inflation and after 5 years, you need a 28% pay raise or to work 44 more hours (*one full extra week* per month+) to make up the difference.

Silver can easily be purchased in smaller quantities and weights. A silver round could be bartered for a box of shells easier than a n eighth of a gold round.

Inflation is the lesser of two evils with unemployment being the other.
