Cheap $12 pocket watch and Gerber, with replaceable blade from RMEF. Sometimes a Leatherman Wave

LeakyWaders;
Good afternoon to you sir, I hope the weekend's been kind to you and those who matter in your life are well.

Thanks for the interesting thread, I for one am always curious to see what folks pack around with them.

If I'm kicking around the place and not going into the big city, this is the pocket dump photo from a thread about that awhile back.

[Linked Image]

Instead of a watch I use my phone and have done ever since I started packing a cell phone.

There's always an O-Light Baton in my left front pocket and the left front has an early ZT 0566 with the Elmax blade.

The little personal scalpel fixed blade is the tip off of an old Gerber Balmung that got bobbed off one day.

On the bottom is an original Wave in a case I did up for it decades back.

All the best to you in the upcoming week and thanks again.

Dwayne

Don't normally use a watch. Anything on my wrist gets smashed so I stopped years ago. The knife is an el-cheapo folding lock blade from Wal-Mart, doesn't say anything on it but IIRC it may be an "Ozark Trails". Cost about 9 bucks in the spring of 2016. Won't hold an edge as good as more expensive stuff but I have a sharpener and it only gets occasional use. Clips into my right front pocket and if I ever lose it there's no big deal. I kind of like it for its cheap usable almost disposable attributes.

Rat 2 in D2 steel. I have others, and the Rat seems to stay in the line up.
I am pretty nuts about keeping it like a razor. It gets stropped pretty often.

My phone is now my timepiece and my knife is one of these.

I use the blade for all kinds of schit because I don't care if I break it, it just takes a couple seconds to replace it.

Phone is my "watch".
Knife is a "Beast" from 3 Sisters Forge.

Since cell phones I quit wearing a watch. Have carried a leatherman PST not long after they came out. The PST has saved the day numerous times. I rotate knives and currently use a Rat R2 D2.

No watch. I have a whole gaggle of different pocket knives and I am never without one. I'm 68 and been carrying a pocket knife since cub scouts...lol

Military style solar Timex daily & a Stainless Seiko on weekends.

Spyderco, Benchmade, & Kershaw do the pocket clip thing. Always a Victorinox Tinker deep down with a Streamlight & butane lighter.

If I were to ramp up anything, I'd add back a Leatherman Wave on my belt that I carried when working.

I'm not likely to head to the deep forest at a moments notice, but have had opportunities to find worth in all I carry.

I got a very good buuzz right now & fixin the grill steaks...the watch will help.

No watch.

Get about 3-4 years outta these before I lose 'em. Ironically enough I spotted(found) my first one while roading a swather down a gravel road.

This is #3, #4 is NIB waiting on the shelf....lol

Timex Ironman and Leatherman Juice S2 (now discontinued) on my belt. Don't like to carry a lot in my pockets when I'm working around the place.

I wear an Apple Watch Series 7 45mm. My wife bought it for me a week ago and I love it.

She is a keeper!

Don’t usually carry a knife.

Apple Watch and many folder knives to choose from. Typically a Benchmade Bugout or Auto-Stryker
