I spent a lot of time in Uvalde while driving the 18 wheeler. There was a big blue jean plant there, since closed down. We took blue jean fabric from Blacksburg S. Carolina to the plant in Uvalde. I was there the last time just 3 years ago. Several times I did a 34 hour break in Uvalde, and would spend a day walking around the town. Pretty little Texas town. I was walking around town one day, got to talking with a guy and his mom who were having a yard sale. And they said, "Well you just walked past Matthew McConaughey's house!"
I thought WTF? I said, "Has Matthew McCounaghey bought some real estate here in Uvalde?"
And they said, "Good God! He is from Uvalde! I went to high school with Matthew. I thought everybody knew that."
Looking at the map, this school is 2 blocks away from that plant I spent so much time at.

Prayers to the families of the victims there. Been to Uvalde several times while down there hunting. Nice town from what I remember. It's not bad. My youngest brother went to high school there after my dad got a ranch there outside Uvalde. I did some narcotics work there years ago. My step brother owns a feed store there and the Oasis Outback, a big hunting/gun store. Home of the famous Newtons .. bank robbers Yup. Thatās right!! Forgot about the Newton Boys! Last of the train robbers!

All things aside, I canāt wait to hear the blatherskite from brandon. I will refuse to listen to that bumbling moron Respectfully disagree, Mr. kaywoodie. We need to listen VERY carefully. Waiting for the story to come out.
Pretty much everyone involved was almost certainly Hispanic, including those little kids shot. I live and work in a demographically similar area, race aināt that big a deal around here.
Shooter could be American-born, a Dreamer or a recent immigrant it wouldnāt matter all that much in South Texas.
Shot his grandmother, somehow engages the Border Patrol, makes the decision to murder peoplesā little children.
What a nightmare for the families š
