A mad shooter on the rampage for over an hour while the police were busy doing other things, looking for keys, trying to find a negotiator whatever. The governments response on both sides seems to be that they need to further restrict people's ability to protect themselves. People don't need guns, they can just call the police, sounds more empty than ever.

Since recent court rulings have been favorable to us we can’t lose our momentum and must continue demanding that our inalienable rights are not infringed.
It’s sickening to me that this illegitimate administration would send 100’s of billions of dollars to some backwater chithole to arm the peasants of Ukraine so they can defend themselves against the aggressors while simultaneously trying to disarm us so that we can’t. These criminals deserve the most severe lawful punishment.

And catch 22 in arming the peasants is when they are killed or wounded during a war, that country can now claim that the opposing forces were killing civilians.

I'll go with history. Time and time again the Democrats would rather score punitive points on Republicans than actually control guns (whatever that means). The same old crap will fail to pass into law, and the Democrats will be able to point fingers and raise money.
