The Catholic church IS against abortion. It's plain and simple Church teaching and is explained in the catechism in no uncertain terms. Unfortunately, the majority of the hierarchy behaves as you've described. They will have to account for their actions on the day of their particular judgement.

Meanwhile the rank and file TRADITIONAL Catholics are disgusted with most of the hierarchy. However, we are not going to leave...we're working to right the ship. I compare it to all the good Americans that are disgusted with the direction our country has gone but are not going to let the Leftists take over. Rather, they (we) are going to fight.

I didn't ask them what their political party registration was before they got saved yesterday. I'm guessing that due to the area and demographics they were democrats.....9 times out of 10. Regardless, they willingly listened to the gospel and decided that they were going to change their minds and believe the truth.

It would do each and every forum member much good to listen to the short message spoken by one of the preachers featured in Mark Dice's video.

As I said before it has become popular to twist the scriptures into what we want them to be. It is impossible to serve two masters. If you believe in abortion you are defying the scripture and the commandments. Anyone that truly believes and follows the truth of the scriptures then I say yes. I don’t think God recognizes political parties.

We should probably all chip in some cash so we can send Holy Crapper to North Sentinel Island where he will be better able to do his good work, and pray up a set of sockets, Starbuck's coffee or kitchen knives.
