When our eldest daughter was in her world travelling phase, Pete volunteered to be a contact point for her while she was in the UK should the need arise. He gave me his contact info, etc. and I really should dig it up if I'm able and say hello.

It's funny in a way George, when I gave her Pete's info "just in case", she looked at me and asked, "Do you have any contacts around the planet who AREN'T ex military or LEO?" laugh

Pete also sent me some wonderful game cooking DVD's years back too now that I recall.

Thanks again and all the best to you all George.

Iguess I'm in the minority here...always kind of liked the old gal. I was @ 6 YO in 1952 during the coronation. It was big news then...remember it plainly. Remember Pete E, too. Interesting fellow.

Yeah. The Queen don't bother me none.

It all ends with her though.

The rest of the Royal line has less class than one of the Queen's dogs.

They should [bleep] Charles and go right to the next one.

I always thought the Queen Mum was a cool ol’ gal.

Hey! Best thing that happened to em was the influx of good German blood into that line in the 18th and 19th centuries? 😉

Kinda like a Cuban calling himself a Spaniard.

Hi Dwayne,

Good morning to you sir. Pete E, yes, Nice to know you had contact with him. We also traded a few PM’s concerning fishing in Wales when he was still here, some time ago. One always wonders about illness or worse when someone drops out. Not that aren’t other reasons to do so.

He’d be a gent I’d be glad to sit down with — like you. 🙂. I hope he’s thriving and maybe filled his 24HCF time with more canal fishing.

Stay well sir.
