Sour cream on half a fresh peach.
Sliced green olives on egg salad sandwich
A big glass of milk with either pizza or burgers. Milk is far and away the best beverage to accompany pizza.

My dad was a simple man for sure. Once, twice a year he'd pour part of a can of peaches into a bowl along with the juice & mix it with milk. Surprisingly good, considering all the temptations available these days.
Home made biscuits & butter with wild honey might be unequaled.
Good homemade cornbread with real butter is a treat by itself.
