Traditional stuff for me. I like to mix milk and root beer about 60/40 respectively for a cheap root beer float; Coke or Pepsi works okay but prefer root beer.
Another favorite is an apple and peanut butter or banana and peanut butter, again nothing too exotic.
Got a real sweet tooth but am trying to stay away from the worst of the "high fructose corn syrup sugar bombs loaded with extra sugar and sugar sprinkles on top" type foods. To that end, plain old graham crackers with a dab of plain yogurt makes a nice snack.
So, what different pairings float your boat? Banana dipped in peanut butter then dipped into uncooked old fashioned oatmeal (not instant or minute).

" Sliced green olives on egg salad sandwich"........... Isn't that just a not off the beaten path "egg & olive" sandwich? It's the only way I ever make an egg salad sandwich, ( with a few mild pepper rings on it). Wouldn't make one if there were no green olives to slice up. Speaking of off the beaten path sandwiches; I sometimes open a can of sardines in either oil or water and with some mayo it makes a good sandwich.

When I was a kid my dad introduced me to peanut butter and syrup, and velveeta and brown sugar.

A guy from Florida says he favors a 50/50 mix of cheap beer and SunnyD orange drink.
Sounds awful to me, but he feels the same about a 75/25 mix of cheap beer and tomato juice.

I fry canned chicken with an egg mixed in, melt cheese all over it, put it on a tortilla with some pico and tapatillo sauce. Fold the tortilla in half and toast the whole thing with a little more cheese.

Mine is a chip dip made from mustard sardines mashed up real good.
When wife makes herself pancakes she sometimes mixes about a half a can of whole kernel corn in with the pancake batter.
Father-in-law used to pick the petals off of pumpkin blossoms early in the morning, chill in salted ice water for a while, then dip in a seasoned breading mix and fry.

With fresh ground pepper and or hot sauce. Same for pineapple. My Dad did something similar, but used vanilla ice cream!

Not crazy, but a classic, cream cheese on Ritz crackers. Smoked oysters on top if you got ‘em.
Cottage cheese and potato chips.
Scrambled eggs with herring roe.
Homemade cherry, blackberry, or strawberry juice in iced tea or rum or both.
Rum and ginger beer.
What fresh Hell is this?

1. Old favorite: small toasted bagel, nice layer of cream cheese, modestly white salt the CC then add a very thin layer of onion, modestly white salt that then drop a slab of ripe tomato and celery salt that. Thank me later.
2. My girlfriend swears by orange soda and coffee ice cream. Also green olives and cream cheese. I've never tried either so try at your own risk.
