I don't believe the inflationn calculation accurately takes into account "shrinkflation", or the shrinking of the amount of a product in a package. Some goods obviously have a standard unit of measure (gallon of milk, pound of beef etc.) Many others do not. Yep...

Agreed and to the point… 1) They have not been careless, it’s largely been intentional. 2) Prices have not gone up, the value of the dollar within the United States has gone down.
