Here's a real turd. They have worked for me. I got one on a .308. Bought it because I got it cheap. They are fantastic if you are patient.

Hick's Accurizer for the Ruger #1.
I put one on my #1B in 7mm STW. It worked as advertised. I was able to dial a four MOA gun into a one MOA elk killer.
But one does not hear much about them anymore.

Savage Strikers, Black Talon bullets, and the worst temporary firearm fad…those horrid, puke orange stocked chinese sks surplus rifles. 🤮🤮🤮 Told a buddy that bought one to buy a red reflector and screw it into the stock, then drive the barrel into the ground at the end of his driveway!

Mercury recoil reducers? Seems like I only see them in Weatherby 378s/etc from the 80s.

Having shot a bazillion molly coated bullets during my F Class days, coated bullets helped keep velocity SD's more consistent throughout a shoot - at least for me. Other than that, I wouldn't bother for any other application.
Same goes for breaks. Outside of competition shooting, just say NO.

You can keep those and moly coated bullets. I have no use for either.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Brought my first plastic gun in 1986.
For years people taunted me that the plastic would melt or break... or catch on fire.
Not sure, but I think they might have been mistaken... and I think this Glock company eventually succeed in business.
If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.
