I have that rifle. Steyr Mannlicher SSG Police Sniper Rifle, with Kahles ZF 69 6×42 scope. It all came in a package, including scope and mount, for about $400.00 back in the early 1990s when the Austrian Police switched to a more modern police sniper rifle. Mine was unused (scope, too). Apparently it was in an Austrian Police stockpile that never got issued. Unbelievable deal. With factory ammo, I can keep them all inside four-tenths of an inch at 100 yards off a bench. Amazing what kinds of deals occasionally make the rounds.

Did anyone count how many rounds were in that magazine?

Did anyone count how many rounds were in that magazine? 28, but it's Chuck Norris. His magazines are bad ass.

Have you heard about the Chuck Norris brand of scopes?? You have to be careful using them when hunting dangerous game, because when you turn up the magnification dial, it actually moves the game closer to you.

Chuckies rifle looks very much like a Model M Professional, or MII/MIII. Lighter barrel, butter knife bolt knob, & presence of iron sights. Harder to find in 308 than the heavier SSG. All cool rifles though. One of the earliest synthetic stocks on a serious centerfire rifle. They called it Cycolac(?) Thinking Weatherby was the next to follow with a synthetic offering in the Fibermark.
Changing times about then. Did Lone Wolf spark the trend?

I heard Chuck said he had a 30 round “clip” and nobody on the internet corrected him. Now that’s just weird. 😀

Chuck Norris has a bearskin rug in his living room. The bears not dead, it's just too afraid to move.
I could go on and on. I love Chuck Norris jokes!
