Highway 90 starts going through the Medina Valley right at 1604 and Lackland’s “Medina Base” and you could call anything west or south of it “the valley”. https://www.mvisd.com/If the Border Patrol puts check points up and crops are grown, I call it “The Valley” regardless. Crossing the river in Big Bend to Boquillas is a must, but otherwise, yeah, why would I go to Big Bend when there’s New Mexico? What about Balmorhea! Don't go swimming.
