Or maybe that already happened! Hopefully, these recent Supreme Court decisions will encourage other groups or individuals with the means to do so, to challenge laws based on their constitutionality. Chevron is one case yet to be decided with far reaching potential results. I think the NRA could have been much more effective and pretty much circumvented the whole firearms legislation fiasco by challenging the constitutionality of the 1934 machine gun ban and the 1968 gun control laws. But then it wouldn't have been as profitable for old Wayne.
The Chevron case is exactly why no new refineries have been built since, what, 1974?

Actually, "they" aren't paying for it. smile

And if by "they're already broke" he is speaking of Cali, guess again. Last I heard the budget surplus will be reaching near $100 Billion ( yes, with a "B") and +/- 50% of that is discretionary and can be used the way the Legislature wants it to be.

I did mean CALI https://www.usdebtclock.org/state-debt-clocks/state-of-california-debt-clock.html

Only one way this gets resolved, and it involves blooding flowing in the streets.

Yep, a Red wave in November is now up in the air.
The masses care about fuel, food prices and watching 401ks dropping. You think supreme court decisions on abortion are impacting most Americans directly, in their family, there wallets?

Yes, the perceived denial of individual liberty supersedes the economics of the moment.

Remember why, specifically, the Bill of Rights was written...remember its purpose. It was written to limit the power of government over the individual.
