Sorry, I had to laugh 😂 I hunted with a Wby 30-378 using 180g Abonds for 6 years elk hunting. It performed perfectly on Roosevelt Elk. Here’s some information that might help. https://www.ballisticstudies.com/Knowledgebase/.30-378+Weatherby+Magnum.html🦫

You don't shoot a 30-378 with light bullets. The best bet is a 200 grain Accubond and you can still get 3200 FPS with that bullet.
I never shot a light bullet in my 30-378, I really didn't like it much and sold it.
I did chrono a 300 Weatherby with a 24 inch barrel and factory Weatherby 165 grain bullets and got 3700 FPS on an Oehler chronograph. That is way to fast for any big game bullet...

I've used US869 quite a bit in my .264 Win Mag. It's slower than H-50BMG and RL-50, but is definitely more accurate. That's said, I'd be running a mono-metal bullet at those speeds.

Sounds me like a perfect recipe for a bomb like effect on deer. Way beyond the performance envelope of just about any bullet but a monolithic IMO....

If you shoot into a head wind it will slow it down just enough to get perfect performance.

April fools day ballistics? Nope, on Mike Venturino’s Oehler chronograph that he uses for his writing and testing. I would have him call you and confirm, but it would be a waste of his time…

Dumbsmell, Your Amazing CLUELESSNESS never disappoints,in it's Magnificent Grandeur...you "lucky" kchunt. Hint. Congratulations?!? Though in fairness to your unbridled Fhuqking STUPIDITY,"too" is in fact a pretty "big" word and it's obvious how Reality is beyond your "abilities". Hint. Fortunately for you,Imagination and Pretend are free,so even you can "afford" to "contribute". Hint. Fhuqking LAUGHING!.............

Speaking of "contributing" . . .
Enjoy your 80+ deg day in Paradise, or should I say "Fook Yo Keyboard"?
I got the next 6 days off - kings, halibut, rockfish, crab, salmonberries, icebergs, whales, etc. Rinse, repeat . . .
