I quit buying NY strips around here. I can get them for that, but they chew like they been whooped with a riding crop.

I honestly have no clue what it costs/lb here to the penny. Same with gas. I know - generally what gas is but is it 4.79 or 4.89? I haven't a clue until I roll up to the pump. Doesn't matter - I'm filling up regardless.

Meat - same. I want to smoke some ribs. I'm buying a couple racks - they cost what they cost. I looked it up tho for this post. Spares are 4.69 lb, back is 3.99 lb, Smithfield prime ribs are 4.99 a lb.

Angus boneless English Roast - 4.99 lb
Boneless Ribeye is 18.99 lb

I just opened a jar of Great Value Mayo from the cupboard.

The aluminum seal on the top had deteriorated and the mayo was in the cabinet with no refrigeration... maybe 4-5 months.

I was going to toss it... but decided not.

It will make great a potato salad for a 4th of July liberal picnic I know about...
