Here we have "Esche's", a discount store run by local Mennonites.

When Sam's Club's rotisserie chickens that have not yet been cooked reach their expiry date, they get dumped whole into a wax box with water and flash frozen.

Esche's sells a box of 8 whole fryer chickens for $9.99.

They are Tyson chickens.... Literally labeled as Tyson, and in the box are the Sam's Club tags as such.

We break down and cook 2 or 3 a week. Shredded. Stock. Chicken wings. Sous Vide. Fried. Enchiladas. You name it.

NO ONE in Loveland, Colorado should ever complain about hunger, when they can buy quality protein for less than a buck a pound.

Sold out last year to ConAgra for a cool $4 bil.

Good lord, ConAgra again? frown

Grocery Outlet had them. Probably an overproduction or such, as they only get outlet type stuff. Next week could be Foster Farms or Perdue. Pisses me off, like Costco at times, find something I like, go back, all gone!

They had some yogurt that is the BOMB! Pastuerized before culturing and not homogenized full fat stuff. Layer of cream on top. Had to order two cases online the other day as I got hooked. Should be here tomorrow!

Sorry, i was wrong. Cargill.

Not sure how it’s changed since the buyout.

To hear folks tell, it was a good company.

Their corporate office / home office was south of here.

Kept the 10 jets at the airport.

They’d fly folks for free to Houston if you needed to go to MD Anderson.

Looks pretty close to the Food Giant store chain's 4th of July week ad: https://www.foodgiant.com/weekly-ad/

I think the Piggly Wiggly in town is a Food Giant store.

Strange, they don’t have the first PW labeled product in the store….

And high as giraffe puzzy

This is a text message from my ole lady couple months back of what this meat usually looks like.

It was at their sister store Murphy’s Cee Bee Ragland.

If I’m not picking it up, I make her send me a pic of it to make sure it looks ok. From April

That's a really good deal these days. You don't see many independent LGS anymore.

Ha ha. Slum has a damn good looking garden

Yes he does... Super Impressive...

BUT... I suspect Renny is kept in a cage at the Slum Plantation... and forced to weed in exchange for Golden Corral discount coupons.

I will NOT be posting more pictures of MY WIFE's pitiful garden...

Maybe Burns will post an elk or ram pic?
