Yeah, they wrapped it up well. The resolution of the situation in Canada was an interesting twist that was well foreshadowed but still came as a surprise. The whole symbology of the final shot was also well done.
After finishing The Last Kingdom it had taken so long for all of the seasons to be released that I binged the first four again. Lots of stuff had been forgotten so it really helped fill in the whole story line. Might have to do that for Peaky Blinders.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Fookin' season 6 of fookin' Peaky Blinders is now on Netflix. Yep, lookin' fwd to it. Just finished bingeing it. Decent ending, good trip from beginning to end, with typical twists and turns to get there. Only one contrived part at the end, but in context it makes sense. Old70 Thought finale of Peaky Blinders was great. I thought the ending sucked. Btw, was Alfie really not dead?

They established Alfie as alive in season 5 when Tommy found him watching birds and ships in Margate. Great scene.

Just finished The Hunt - a good satire on Freevee (Amazon). Warning - it does have commercials but I just mute them and do something else for a minute and one-half.
Basis of the plot is that the Elite hunt and kill the Deplorables.

Watched The Adam Project on Netflix last night and would recommend it.
Basically a time traveling fighter pilot from 2050 comes back to 2022 to set right something that the villain changed to make the world a terrible place, he meets himself as a smart mouthed 12 year old a couple of years after his (their) father died and goes from there.
Nothing earth shaking but an enjoyable PG-13 action/comedy romp suitable for kids or adults. Mostly bloodless violence, some swear words but no F-bombs that I remember, big on the themes of forgiveness and family redemption.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

I'm interested in watching The Terminal List, an 8 part series starring Chris Pratt , scheduled for release this Friday on Amazon.
The hollywood reviewers are all shìtting themselves over it, calling it "right wing fantasy" and "dad action" and every other insult they can think of. Which means it ought to be pretty good.

The Hunt is free on Prime. Worth watching. In the tradition of Kill Bill, but with overtones about the political friction between "The Deplorables" and the elitist left in the US.

Anyone mentioned The Old Man with Jeff Bridges? On Hulu. Highly recommend.

Based on a series of books by Jack Carr a retired SEAL. The books are excellent and several SEAL's are in the show and consulted in the making of it. Should be good.

Jerry and Marge Go Large
Nice mellow dinner movie with no overt political woke BS.

Interesting trivia. The lead actor, Chris Pratt married Arnold and Maria’s daughter in 2019.
