Wonder if I'm the only one? My AR10 308 works great without the suppressor but screw that guy on and it's a crapshoot at best. Trying 110gr vmax and Benchmark, H380 and A2230. It has the Superlative adjustable gas block but this seems to be a black art. 2230 seems to work better than the others but.... I need some advice on maybe a different powder. Also very hard on the brass.

You may want to ask this question in the AR and tactical rifle forum here. Those guys are pretty smart and helpful there. I have a couple AR10's, but don't run an AGB or suppressor. For the most part, I believe most AR10 type rifles are going to be fairly "hard" on brass. I know when I run brass through my 6.5 Creedmoor it dings it up pretty good, so now I segregate brass, which I don't like to do. Also, a 110 grain bullet is pretty light in a 308 winchester and it may not produce enough pressure (or more importantly, dwell time) to operate the rifle properly, even without the suppressor. The lightest bullet I run in my Armalite AR10 308win is a 150, but those are full pressure loads and it functions 100%..

You will most likely have to install an extra heavy buffer and spring to slow down the BCG. The BCG travels too fast with the stock buffer and spring, even with an adjustable gas block, when you are running the suppressor. This leads to erratic cycling and torn up brass. Go to heavybuffers.com. They have charts showing what buffer/spring combos should work in your application. I am not affiliated with this company in any way. This is just from my personal experience with this exact same problem. Took me a lot of trial and error to figure this out.
