I use these sometimes in combo with other rub spices. Also great sprinkled over egg dishes or whatever. The mushroom has got that msg flavor brightening quality without the msg.

Wife likes Traeger Prime Rib rub so we use a lot of it. When in Arizona last winter, I bought a rub just for the name: "Big C ock Ranch Bull S hit" rub. It's pretty good also. We always have Montreal seasoning on hand, both steak and chicken.

I use different rubs on different things so I have a cabinet full. My favorites for pork bbq are Cimarron Doc's and Killer Hogs.
Know fat, know flavor. No fat, no flavor.
I tried going vegan, but then realized it was a big missed steak.

Mix McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning with some Tony Chacheres.
If it's too salty use Tony's no-salt version.

The Bolners Fiesta brand as already ^ ^ ^ posted Is about as good as store bought gets. I can't make myself pay what some pay for spices.
If you want one of the better cheap homemades, Use 1 part cheapest cheap black pepper 1 part garlic powder ( just garlic powder-nothing extra) 1 part mustard powder Mix it Use it That's it
JMO- too many people today ruin their meat overdosing it with condiments. Not much sense in paying premium money for a premium cut only to douse it with spices or sauces. Just buy a bullsh*t cut at a lower price if you want to just taste sauce
Good Luck

I've only ever bought the spice rub from some local grocers who stock it. I'll be in Manteca next week and head over to their store. Last time I bought the sauce was when I worked in Manteca bout 10 years ago. Fats....the website only offered just one type of seasoning and no sauces.

Often mix my own. A few years ago, my FIL gave me a gift pack of sorts from this company and I liked all the mixings. https://www.oakridgebbq.com/Ive also realized that a lot of smoked low/slow cooks do fine with salt and pepper only. I bought their Carne Crosta steak rub based on a recommendation from another 'fire member. It's good - has coffee in it giving a different smoky flavor.

Butchers BBQ rubs are my go to for store bought. I have several different types, and you can order direct or on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/s?k=butcher+...g=googhydr-20&ref=pd_sl_936qlbg13c_eKiller Hogs is not bad either.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....
