Honest factoid!
In rattlesnake country, NEVER walk between the railroad tracks.
Desert country gets awfully cool at night. Snakes, being cold blooded, crawl up beside the rail to get warm.
Steel rail almost instantaneously gets "HOT" when the sun hits it. Once the rails get hot, the snakes will not cross them. If a snake gets too hot, it will die.
Wanna see a mad snake that will strike at anything?
Look for one between the railroad tracks!

It's warm but it's not excessively hot. Last summer was the worst here in Idaho and records were broken and it sucked and the air quality was horrible. This summer has been wonderful.

When I'm outside for 5 min, a cotton t-shirt is soaked through. I went for a 5 mile hike with a canopy on early Sunday morn and I lost 7 lbs, after drinking nearly a gallon of water.

Interesting. My goal was not to sweat today, and I didn't. Even doing boat maintenance. The last couple of weeks have been pretty rough on aa outdoor guy in SE Texas.
Only three more months of summer!

IF it can evaporate. A year or two I was at the range one afternoon and the dew point was above 80 degrees. Not much cooling going on.

Our dew point was 81° today and the "chill factor" was 109°. That's not to bad if you hide from about 1100 to 1800.
