Another move to make ammo unaffordable to most.

Put this in the same category as banning lead wheel weights.

In the meantime, the more you know about rolling your own the better off you will be in the long run.

If we ever come-up with a surefire, non-corrosive, way to mfg our own primers it's game over for the anti-ammo libtard gameplan.

There are already 3x more reloaders out here than there were just five year ago according to the NSSF.

We're recycling lead acid batteries (to cast boolits) ... which is good for the environment btw.

And, eventually, you'll see more and more home press and lathing operations doing our own home pressing and spinning off copper wire and jacketed boolits.

It’s worse than that DD, bans the use of lead ammo of any kind for any purpose.

It's just an attempt to harm hunting culture. They see this as a generational fight and they are winning incrementally.

I’ve been breaking lead down last few afternoons. Old roof flashings and lead water service

It’s very dirty, initial melts just to get the tar and asbestos separated

I said long ago the Feds would one day ban all hunting and fishing on all Federal lands. USFWS has long been anti-hunting and anti-firearms.

After all, if you can't hunt, you don't need any firearms, right?

Inch by inch by inch by inch.

Got about 180 pounds of reclaimed wheel weights

Stuff's hard to cone by.
I designed a lead dripper and a buddy built it for me.
It only makes #8's.

Sadly, again, I have a 12 and 20 gauge MEC. I only shoot 16 gauge! 😖

CA has had a ban on hunting with lead ammo for years. The used lead poisoning in condors as an excuse. Now that people aren’t hunting with lead you think that they would study this issue again and cancel the lead ban if the lead in condor blood hasn’t changed.

I think, some people may forget that lead comes from the earth.

Well, let's not forget.

So does arsenic, cobalt, uranium, radon gas, and a whole host of other nasties.

But, that's not really the issue.

I didn't shoot the deer cause I was hunting it sir, I shot it in self defense. It charged me and those were self defense rounds. Since it was dead I figured I'd just put my tag on it, rather than shoot another one with these here all copper bullets.....

Have used only Barnes for 30 years.
Never lost an animal.
Have yet to use a box of bullets.
One animal took 2 shots.
The real issue is lead birdshot. not bullets but you cannot expect government drones to be intelligent.

Have you ever shot 700+ rounds in a weekend prairie dog shoot? That’s a lot of Barnes copper bullets.
