Karma.

He screwed a lot of people financially, so maybe now he'll get screwed by a lot of people physically. They should make an HBR case study of this.

For fun, I pulled the cases on Docket for his next court date to see what else was going on that day. His cases and the fact that he is in jail are a case study in why you don't tick off a judge when you are out on bond. Or it could be an indictment on the lax bail practices of Harris County. Or both.

Felony Indictments for people who are out on Bond and on the Docket for July 26:
Felon in possession of weapon (multiple)
Invasive visual recording
Continual sexual abuse of a child (multiple)
Indecency w/child sexual contact (multiple)
Assault of a pregnant person
Aggravated Robbery with a deadly weapon (multiple)
Possession of a controlled substance, >4g (mutliple)
Assault of a peace officer

Felony indictments for people who are NOT out on Bond and on the Docket in Court 179 for July 26:
Theft <$2,500 w/2 more previous convictions
Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity
Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon
Theft between $2500 and $30k (Eustice 2X)
Theft from Person/Elderly/Nonprofit (Eustice)
Evading Arrest
Possession of controlled substance over 400 grams

That is an interesting list. Remember, Eustice has had bond set but he has not paid it. That's why he is still in jail. He could be out on bond if he paid it.

I'm sure the fact that the bond was set at 100k has something to
do with him still being in jail Looks like Mommy & Daddy didn't want to
fork out the bucks or advise from his legal team

I've said all along he will probably get "time served" as his sentence since
he's a non-violent offender

I agree, but he was originally out on a PR bond before he violated the terms of his parole and was difficult, which seemed to tick off the judge.

Nothing happened in court today. Eustice doesn't want to plea so he will go to trial in OCT. There will be a pretrial in SEP.

Theft from Person/Elderly/Nonprofit (Eustice)

Help me refresh my memory on this charge?

Didn't the "idiot" get someone else's check ( Maybe a church) in the mail
and deposited it into his account

The theft from nonprofit involves him taking a $20,000 check made out to a nonprofit that helps kids (he has no affiliation with) that was placed in his mailbox, endorsing it with his name, and placing it into his bank account. His attorneys admitted to that in December court filings.

Looks like he's in a private prison: LaSalle Correctional Center in Olla, Louisiana.

It looks like his next court date is 9/14/2022. I thought his trial was in October. Did it get moved up? Is the September date just another pretrial hearing?

The trial is in October. The Sept date is Pretrial stuff. Watching the last docket date, it sounded like his defense attorneys were going to try and talk him into taking a deal one more time. They seemed discouraged that he wouldn’t take the offered plea. Sept is all about discovery and witness planning. Perhaps a deal will be struck.

I'm still betting on time served with restitution to those he stole from

As screwed up as the courts are today there are those with drug related crimes
serving less time than him

The majority of those only drag themselves down, this asshat knowingly scammed 1000s of unsuspecting customers, used wire transfer, postal system and even the courts against good people for personal gain, if they took his ass out back and strung him up, it'd be too good for his sorry ass.

He needs to see what really happens to people who get taken advantage with no recourse or power to prevent it.

Yes, take his ass to Huntsville and throw him in with some real thugs who won't just threaten him. If he comes out a better person, okay, if he doesn't make it out, I am good with that too.

We've grown to soft for this crap.
