Higginez: Well, if most monies brought in at the "box office" is the main criteria then "Top Gun - Maverick" is right there at the very top!
It has brought in $1,403,000,000.00 (one billion four hundred and three million dollars!) SO FAR, at the box office.
And it is being brought back to many theaters as of now.
I would say its for sure in the top ten of the last ten years - box office or not.

VarmintGuy Never before has there been so much hype for a movie before it was actually shown. It was a good movie, but the 21st century pandering to women pilots and male posturing to create the competitive image between pilots, was nothing less than sophomoric and predictable. Ford vs Ferrari on the other hand was a much better film but will languish somewhat because it didn’t get the pre-release boost that Maverick did. Comparing the 2 movies, I would give Ford vs Ferrari the thumbs up… PS many movies would be much better if they would leave the gratuitous “leading lady” out of the script completely.

Good movie, but I take issue with the way the director chose to portray Churchill as timid and indecisive as times. It over played his alcoholism, especially early in the movie and his reliance on his wife Clementine, and the subway scene was total fabrication and paints him as unsure of himself. Churchill never lacked self confidence. Otherwise, outsitanding flick.

Out of the Furnace (2013) with Christian Bale and Woody Harrelson was pretty good...
The Hateful Eight and Django Unchained were good.
