Bullschitt. He has had more hits than Hank Sr.

He far surpasses his old man in every respect. But I think it’s fair to say he got a head start based on his lineage.

But I don’t know enough about the industry to bet the house on it.

His dues are paid I guess, looked up his writing credits & so much of what he does is his own. Glad I ask about the azzhole.

Just another star caught in the limelight at a bad time. The good bad or ugly, they feel like they got ta stay relevant I guess. Even if when they should of stayed at the house that day.

He could play classical music on a piano as well as anyone I’ve ever heard. I always felt I got way more than I laid to see.

Yep. My experience as well. He told me Jerry Lee Lewis taught him how to play the piano.

Yep. His head start was his Mom, Miss Audrey, forcing him on the stage at 6 years old to play Hank Sr’s songs for money to support her.
Luckily for Hank jr, lots of big stars took him in and showed him the ropes, and gave him support, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and many many others. Dads’s name opened a few doors, for sure. But Jr pretty much kicked the rest of them open.

His kid is the most talented out of the 3. IMO. I enjoy all of them though.

Could care less if he’s a prick. Doubt we’ll be hanging out anytime soon.

I didn’t find Mr Williams arrogant, I found him honest, those who are roughest on the outside often turn out to be the most generous. The effeminate manner of the host did irritate however.

He mentioned “The Eyes of Waylon” as a favorite song, here it is, he must have been really impressed with him, loved him like a brother.

Yep. They were very close.

I was not impressed at all with the “host”.

Cracked me up when Gruff called him Rachel Maddow 😂😂😂

My uncle drove him around during a Lincoln Nebraska gun show.

My uncle said he was very knowledgeable about colt revolvers.

He autographed the glove box. My Uncle seemed to have gotten along all right with him.

How ever the locals where I live in Idaho have the opinion he is rather not so nice to be around during hunting season.

Don’t personally care very much for Hank the 3rd’s music. But he does one hell of a great impression of Hank Sr. Looks a lot like him too, or would without all the tattoos. 🤪

He used to always attend the Big Tulsa Gun Show every year. Don’t know if he still does or not.

Years and years of standing in front of those Amps and speaker stacks, and countless rounds through magnum handguns will do that to ya.

I’m still LMAO at Gruff’s calling the little prick Rachel Maddow. 😂😂😂

Not a hard thing to do since his dad passed at 29.

When he passed at 29, Sr had sold more records than any other person. Ever.

All I know about him personally is I was elbow to elbow with him at a big gun show in Louisville, KY, and he was right there among the crowds looking at Sharps rifles, and Winchesters. I thought that was pretty cool. He seemed to be alone and was very unassuming.

Might have been the year I saw him there. I was at a table where a man was selling some old Parker Hale sights. A guy walked up to the table beside me and started looking at the sights. I glanced at him and thought, "He looks like Hank Jr."

Then I saw that he had a big Rolex watch on his wrist.

So I asked, "Are you Hank Williams Jr.?"

He said "Yep".

So that was my conversation with Hank Williams Jr.

Hank Sr. died at the age of 29. Had he lived to 73 might he have had a few more hits?
