In between my after lunch nap and my important internet posting time today, I took a bicycle ride.

Goddam pedestrians. There's so much wrong with these pics.

First and foremost, spandex is disgusting.

I don't see a license plate on that ass.

Doubt she has insurance.

Pedestrians don't pay taxes.

She couldn't manage to stay in her 12 foot wide lane. She spent most of her time in the separation zone, and some of her time wandering aimlessly into the bike lane.

She was completely distracted by her phone and never even looked back to see if she might be blocking bicyclists.

Her behavior is extremely dangerous to bicyclists.

If I or another very responsible cyclist had hit her, it could have induced life changing PTSD.

It could have damaged our expensive bicycles too.

If I could have rolled coal, I would have.

fugking spandex.

Being an arrogant prick isn't limited to bicyclists,

They just have a much higher percentage than most other groups

That should be a period after bicyclists. I have never known an arrogant bicyclist.

It's a great ride if you ever have the opportunity.

We take the bikes up to Logan Pass after dark in the pickup and ride them down, traffic is typically zero at night and you can see thier headlights coming if there happens to be any..

Put that bike in the highest gear It's got and pedal like hell, you can achieve phenomenal speeds.

There are steel grates across the road imbedded in the pavement for drainage, they make you pucker when you cross them.

You need the whole road to make the corners at such high speeds.
Just slow it down if you can see oncoming headlights.

We go down the west side from Logan Pass and stop at the parking area at the switchback or what may be referred to as 'the loop'. It's about a 8 mile run at a steady 6% grade.

It requires as much wits as skills.

I have hit 50 on a bike before. I don't really need to do that again. LOL. I'd love to ride Glacier, and for what it's worth stay as much out of the way as possible while doing it.

Glacier is a bumper to bumper event anymore on a road too narrow to accomadate cars and bikes at the same time.
