Russia already offered to withdraw if Ukraine would stay out of NATO and stop attacking Donbas. At America's behest, Ukraine refused.

When Russia chooses to go bare knuckle, Ukraine hasn't got a chance,..and Russia doesn't want the entirety of Ukraine. It just wants to liberate the regions in Ukraine that consists of ethnic Russians,...the same regions that have been under persecution by Ukraine since the CIA orchestrated a color revolution in Ukraine in 2014.
Of corse, the West is not going to allow that because the sole reason for the color revolution in Ukraine in 2014 was to set up a proxy war between the West and Russia.
Ukraine is just a pawn in the whole affair. Russia would have stopped with Donbas. The West is forcing Russia to conquer Ukraine entirely. BS. You are speculating at best, passing off your opinion as fact. Putin's revisionist history essay did not address part of Ukraine, but all of it.

Lots of Mexicans living there and it did belong to Mexico in the past... so obviously Americans should not complain or fight back. Don’t ignore Alaska. We should probably give it back to Russia after screwing them on that real estate deal back in the day.  And if'n we fight back, they'll threaten to nuke us, but it's all good because hey, Putin's just a really swell dude.
