Step 2 In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high. Add the chopped vegetable mixture and cook, stirring frequently and scraping the bottom of the pan to ensure the food does not stick, until the liquid reduces sauce thickens, about 6 minutes. Step 3 Add the tomato puree, remaining half of sliced onion, chicken bouillon, and thyme to the vegetable mixture. Bring to a boil. Add the sardines and return to a simmer. Ive fried sardines, good ones, with some onion and tomatoes and it turned out really good but I love sardines.
Like the Costco season brand sardines. And they're really good for you
