Two things:

1. I like the F150 but hate the EV F150 uni-brow headlight
2. Pure EV's for most people are stupid. Hybrid is a much better way to go for trucks.

The only thing an EV pickup is good for is local deliveries in town. I'd never even consider taking one any distance.

It'd have been interesting if he'd of gotten the truck with the dual battery towing package to use for a towing test.

I have seen a corporation throw away millions to avoid the tiniest bad publicity.

This has got to be a real hit on FORD.

I had my free service done on my truck Monday. Was talking to the shop foreman. They were being forced to put in Midlevel charging stations by GM. Every GM dealer has to do it.
He said it was a huge expense. They were having to add another transformer and service wires. They had to buy the charging stations. Battery balancing equipment they had no use for.
He said their chargers would take 8 hours to fully charge a car. And somthing like 37 hours to charge an E hummer. He said they have never sold an EV and didn't plan to stock one until there was infrastructure for them in the region.

I'd prefer the Ford on the trailer, myself.

Come on man, I have 2 Dodge 6.7's, no way you get 16.2 towing 20K.

Car company is betting the vast majority of woke electric truck owners will never ever tow or haul anything. The tow rating was probably in the lab under optimized conditions.

That is what the dash reads... I'll take a pic if need be. Who knows if the dash lies... it is a UAW product. I have NOT done pencil and paper yet (only had the truck 4 month+/-).

FYI... the 20k is an honest estimate. I not 100%... sure 29' x 8.5' packed to the gills with really heavy chit. She was running heavy for sure... tires hot to the touch.
