I need a light weight optic with a adjustable objective/parallax. Whatever the lightest weight scope with A/O doesn’t matter power range. Any suggestions?

I think what he is asking is whether or not you want Adjustable Objective (i.e. the objective bell is spun to remove parallax) or would you be ok with a side adjustable parallax option (i.e. the parallax adjustment is a knob on the left side of the scope tube).

Burris FF E1 4.5-14. Side focus. 15.3oz. About $170 here and there, now and then. Mine’s been on a number of rifles without issue.
Reticle’s not my favorite and it has a limited adjustment range typical of 1” scopes, but it works. Probably some .22 scopes out there that would work too.
I have a very light Burris 6x I snagged here on my Hornet, but you can’t have it.
What fresh Hell is this?

Either is fine. Just need a durable lightweight scope. How durable? How lightweight? IME, for the most part these two properties have some inverse correlation. It's a trade-off. SWFA Fixed and some HD models, the smaller March scopes, some NF SHV and NXS Compact models, etc., are durable and fairly lightweight, and have adjustable parallax correction.

I've been impressed with both the VX-Freedom EFR A.O. 3-9x33 I've been working with. At 12 oz, you'll not find anything current production that's any lighter. People can hammer Leupold all they want (some well deserved) but I believe their new stuff is getting better. Ducking the bricks, now......  Good shootin' -Al

I have a 6x Burris that has adjustable objective and target turrets but it’s silver and has a fine dot reticle. Not sure if those are deal breakers or not? Weighs 13.9 ounces on my scale

If you can find an old Leupold Vari X-III 4.5-14 AO, they are both lightweight and rugged. I've seen a few of them for sale lately, but they are not cheap. There is one on now on eBay for $650!
Experience is a hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterwards.
