I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I have a 1.5x6 Bausch & Lomb on my 375 and it has been a good scope

That Kahles would be tough to beat unless you wanted more top end x since it’s not intended for dangerous game. I have a 375 Ruger that broke a Burris after 3 shots. I am putting a Leupold VX3i 2.5-8 on it to see how it does. If I ever decide to go to Africa it will get upgraded.

I have been using a 1.5 x 6 x 42 scope on 375s for over 25 years. It seems to be just about perfect and was the recommendation of my PH in the late 90's. Your Khales is most likely the optimum choice, especially with most shots being less than 200 yards.

That Kahles would be dandy, I think.
If you choose to buy another scope for it, I would keep my eyes out for a used Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x32. I have several, including one that’s on my .375 H&H.

I've had a Kahles 1.5-6 with illuminated reticle on my 375 for over 15 years. Also have a Bushnell Elite 2.5-10, both in Talley QD rings. You can't go wrong either way.
I am continually astounded at how quickly people make up their minds on little evidence or none at all. Jack O'Connor

The 375 doesn't need to be a short range caliber. A 2.5-8 or even a good old 3-9 would make it more versatile.

I think the 1.5-6x power is perfect for a .375. Not sure how Khales holds up though. I’ve only owned one briefly.
I want to make a 3-10 NF SHV work on my .375 I just can’t bring myself to put a rail on a Model 70!

Steel Talley split rings, standard bases. Scope has more mounting flexibility because of the 32mm objective. Not too short. https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/galleries/17654977#Post17654977

A 2.5-8 or even a good old 3-9 would make it more versatile. A 2.5-8 is good for a lot as is a 3-9 but all the cool kids here have to find something different so they don't make the grade anymore.

OP said his max shots are going to be "200 yards". The scope he has will work great for that application. If he said he'd be shooting 400 yards, I'd also suggest something along the lines of a 2.5-10 or 3-9x40.. As it is, that is a moot point..

I’d still be fine with the 1.5x6 at 400 yards for stuff I’d be using a 375 for…. Deer on up!

I also shoot a lot at 400+ yards and I know for myself I draw the line at a 3-9x40 at 400.. Those are my limitations and I admit that.. For a while, I ran a 1.5-5 on my pre 64 model 70 375H&H and had to eventually step up for shots out to 300 yards. I went with a 3-9x40. Gunner owns that rifle now and I believe he uses a 1.5-5 Leupold on it. I may be wrong. Again, at 200 yards, I'd be comfortable with the op's scope.
