I'm in, I haven't drank in a few weeks, should probably keep it going. I have a problem putting the brakes on once I start to get my drank on....hmm that sounds like country lyrics.

Caffeine and chew are enough.

I’m in. To be fair, I haven’t drank in years.

It’s going on a month now with no nicotine either. I went from a can a day to the ON nicotine pouches.

I don’t like being on high blood pressure medication, so if being nicotine free helps…

I drank close to fifty years, was never an
Alcoholic, just loved my Beer, a lot of things would have been different in my life if I hadn’t started as a teenager, I came to realize that nothing new was ever going to happen from drinking, just a habit, hand to mouth thing, not trying to preach, but I’m still the same man I always was, just a lot happier. I haven’t had a beer in five years and ten months. I don’t even remember really drinking now . I had 10 cases in fridge when I stopped, gave beer to everybody, they all thought I was crazy! I can hand out beer to friends or be around it and never even think about it.

Got to laugh at the idea of Sober October. Never took up alcohol so it’s not much of a challenge.

I'll give it a shot. I don't drink much, maybe a beer or two a month so it really isn't a big deal to go a month without beer, booze, or pills.

The terms suck.

Drunk once in my life, almost 30 years ago.
Working on a 30 pack bought in August.

Had 1 beer with supper last night,
and I'm out before I got started.

Doc ask me if I drink once.
"Well,.... yeah"
"How much"
"Case or two a year"
"If that's all, why not quit"
"That little, what's it hurt?"
He laughed and agreed.

No way I could go a month without my 800mg Ibuprofen.
Well, it ain't worth going without them.

Glucosamine/chondroitin?
Gotta have them too.

Count me in. I'll support anyone's sobriety, even those who don't seem particularly supportive of others. When you're ready, I'd also suggest ditching the tobacco. Both are means of self-medicating. The dip isn't doing you any favors, despite thinking it gives you energy, helps you focus...pick your rationale (and an addict can and will). If you're ready to stop killing yourself with tobacco, this site is an excellent place to start. Believe me, you'd fit right in to that forum; dip rage is welcomed. Good luck on however you've decided to frame your journey.
