Remington 700 BDL SS 30-06 with jeweled bolt and 24” barrel. l bought this here about 2 years ago, put a Gre-tan firing pin assembly on it to replace the j-lock, a set of 1 inch Talleys in what look like lows, possibly ex-lows. It had a Leupold 3-10X40 on it with lots of room so I am guessing they are lows. Ran our standard 180 Partition load through it which did an inch and threw it in the safe until it went to AK to my son. Due to some unforeseen circumstances it never made the trip and it doesn’t stand to get much use here so I am going to move it. Just looking to basically get my $ back out of it including the firing pin assembly and the Talleys. Couple shined spots on the barrel and marks on the stock but it is a $100% solid rifle from when Remington was still doing it right.
$875 shipped to the lower 48. Your FFL must accept from a private individual or add on the $40 my guy charges.

Not really looking for any trades, trying to get the safe down to what we use and we have about everything covered about twice over. This rifle is behind another 30-06 and 280 before it would ever get pulled out of the safe. Great rig but we just won’t use it at this point.

I am in the Elmira/Corning area.

Great gun. I had one just like it a dozen years ago but my best hunting partner talked me out of it. He did everything with it but tragically died of an opioid overdose after a knee surgery shortly after I gave it to him. I asked his wife to make sure his son got it but she said she needed cash and wanted to sell it I gave her some cash and said make sure the rifle stays with the kid. I took him hunting a few years later and he still had it. Everytime I see a bdl ss 30-06 I miss my best hunting partner ever. A truly do it all rifle, he did everything from rabbits to elk with it..

Thanks. Looks like we really are in a recession, not much moving in the classifieds these days.

The Biden Bucks are gone. Seems like everyone bought that dream gun or way overpaid for a Marlin lever. I’m guilty of both. 🤷‍♂️ GLWS on a very nice rifle

It is a M700 BDL with a 24” bbl.

M700 Mtn rifles are, well, Mtn rifles and have a 22” bbl with a smaller diameter contour than the OP’s rifle.

Correct. These and the Classics were great rifles and by far my favorite 700’s. If I didn’t have a reworked 30-06 Ti it would be staying here.
