I used to use it in a .257 Roberts (100gn) but then switched to H4350.
Then in a .25-06 (100 - 115gn) but then switched to H1000 (115 - 120gn).
Then in my .280 (140 - 160gn) but then switched to Re19.
But I finally settled on H4831sc in my .257 Ackley with the 115gn Ballistic Tip at 2990 fps with 50gn. Nosler lists 50.5gn.

I know you can't get enough of it in an 06 case to exceed Saami SPECS
you can run a 200 grain bullet at 2900+ fps... and a 220 grainer in the 2800 to 2850 fps range. That's really fast for those bullet weights in the 30-06.

I know you can't get enough of it in an 06 case to exceed Saami SPECS
you can run a 200 grain bullet at 2900+ fps... and a 220 grainer in the 2800 to 2850 fps range. That's really fast for those bullet weights in the 30-06. You aren't kidding. I wonder what case to get that much powder in to get those speeds.

It became my go to for heavy for caliber Sierras in my 260 Rem 140's and 270Win 150's.

tried it in the 280AI, and it gave good accuracy, but poor velocity compared to other powders.

30-06 with 220's, 270's with 130's and 150's but I like R23 better for the 150's, and 44-45 gr in a 243 with a 95-100 gr bullet is a cant miss. I try to keep a massive amount of it cause I use a it a LOT.

I used it in a 300 WM 76 gr. Lit by a Fed 215 and 180 gr. Sbt. I also used it for my 25-06 with 52.5 gr. 117 Sbt and a cci 250 26” bbl.

Yep, Seafire and i talked about this 10 years ago, i took the challenge, with a black powder drop tube and new WW brass i was able to easily get 2800 fps with 200gr partitions from my old pre64 '06 at 3.330 COL with excellent accuracy, 2800 fps more than satisfied my curiosity LOL! primers and bolt lift was great, in fact, in a separate test i loaded one stick of brass 5 times, all good.

I keep trying it, but I have a hard time getting better results than I do with h4350. Sure would love to use in in my 26" barrel 30-06 xbolt.

Makes sense to me. I'd guess the spacious WW cases along with the long tube would get it in there. I tried to do it with a 4" drop tube and barely could get enough in to get 2600 from the 200 ABs. Might have to try it again in the future.
