TLB2: Hoping for the best for you!
My lifelong friend Jack from Yelm, Washington had and 11 (eleven!) pound tumor (thats right 11 pounds not 11 ounces!) removed from his left kidney in a two day and two step/event operation.
He lived 19 more years after that operation. He did loose the one kidney though and the Doctors somehow related his lifelong use of ketone and acetone at the autobody shop he worked at and owned for 52+ years.
Remember you have two kidneys. And again, hoping for the best for you.

My Pastor had a very similar thing a few years back on his kidney. It was no big deal at all to remove and he’s fine.
Prayers for the same for you.

You got this! Be positive. You will live a long and happy life with 1 kidney IF and only IF it comes down to that.

Praying for the best possible outcome!

TLB2, just saw your request and certainly will do so. 12/7 seems quite far out there to me, but situations do vary greatly. The uncertainty can nag and spoil days, so please try to be steady, calm and concentrated on the best stuff. Remember all who hold you up in prayer.
